Thursday, May 21, 2009: Since I needed to get to town by noon, I ran a quick six route during the mid morning. It was a sunny, somewhat cool, but pleasant day for the run. Later in the afternoon, since the in town trip was complete, I decided to do my first outdoor bike ride for the year. (Pretty darn late for someone that for many years biked almost year-round).
It was a good ride, though, down to the Rails-to-Trails path and into Kalispell. The winds were favorable, too, with just a light tail wind for the return trip to the ranch. Training log: Run 6.2 miles; Outdoor biking for cross-training: 13.4 miles.
