Thursday, May 14, 2009: Was almost a two-stage run. The first stage was completed after dropping the truck in town for some repair work. I ran back from town (with some walking) in a light rain ... then no rain ... and then heavier rain. It was not an ideal running day! Since the report on what was wrong with the truck was not received until late in the day, a second run was not done. Instead, I just watched periods of rain drift through and later went down to the arena and helped with one of the horses. While taking her from the arena back to the pasture, one of the cats caught a ride. Otherwise, I just rested for most of the day. Log miles ~6.5: (I forgot the GPS, so that is my estimate).
