Tuesday, May 12, 2009: Variability was the keyword of the day today. Overnight it was mostly clear resulting in a cold overnight low. Clouds slithered in during the morning and brought a combination of showers, ice pellets, and wind. Due to some activities during the day and the uncertainty of the weather, I didn't get out for a run until late in the afternoon. The wind was still kicking up pretty good (I think I saw some ducks wind surfing on the flooded areas in the meadow). But, the clouds parted and allowed the sunshine to dominate and even with temperatures in the middle 40's, it made for pleasant running conditions. Since it was late enough in the day, I decided to do a six miler loop again today. Marathon log for the day: 6.2 miles.
