Getting Back into the Training Mindset
Well, almost a month has gone by, and I have recovered from the bicycle crash. But, for some reason, I just didn't get the motivation to resume my running training. I went out for a few good walks early during the recovery phase (less than two weeks after the crash) but when it came time to do running, I didn't. I did do a good run walk combo over a week ago -- but that was it! I guess the thought of getting into full training mode again was rocked away in the barcalounger! As this month ends, I do still have 22 days until the marathon, so, if I really want to do a time-crunch training cycle, I could probably do it ... we'll see!
